How to Open a Webull Account
Step 1: Tap “Open Account”
Step 2: Select your Residential Status
Step 3: Enter Personal Information
- For Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents, we recommend you to select and login with Singpass to autofill your personal information.
- For Foreigners Living in Singapore, you are eligible to use Singpass. However, due to limited data available, you will need to upload your Passport and provide a Proof of Address for verification.
- For Others, please fill in your personal information manually. You will need to upload an acceptable Identity Document and provide a Proof of Address for verification.

Step 4: Enter your Contact Info
Step 5: Enter your Employment Info
Step 6: Complete your Investment Info and Background
If you are a Politically Exposed Person (PEP), or a close associate or family member of a PEP, you will be required to complete information relating to your PEP status or association, as well as provide a personal attestation.
Step 7: Complete Your Source of Wealth and Source of Funds
Depending on your profile, you may also be asked to provide further information on the source of your wealth as well as the source of your funds.
Step 8: Select Account Type and Trading Products
If you have selected Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) or Options, you will be requested to complete a Customer Account Review (CAR) per Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulation. This is to assess that you possess the relevant knowledge or experience to understand the risks and features of Specified Investment Products (SIPs) before that product can be offered to you.
Step 9: Acknowledge that you have read, understood and accept all the documents under Agreement and Risk Disclosures
Step 10: Verify Identity (Only required for Application with Singpass by Foreigners Living in Singapore, and all other Manual Applications)
This is only required if you have manually filled in your personal information, or for application with Singpass by foreigners living in Singapore. All other applicants who used Singpass to autofill their personal information will not need to go through this step.
Step 11: Signature
Please enter your full name as signature to complete and submit your account application for approval.
Step 12: Account Application Review
Your account should be approved within 1 to 3 business days. However, if your application requires additional verification, it may take more than 3 business days to be approved. We’ll notify you via email and the Webull App once your account is approved.
Step 13: Account Application Approval
When your Webull account has been approved, we will notify you.
